I Was Born at XII NoFilter Kino in March and April 2026

I Was Born will be part of the XII NoFilter Kino 2026 in Warsaw and Helsinki!

The first screening will be on Sat 28th of March in Kinoteka, Warsaw as a part of the screening program called Tamed Algorithms.

The second screening will be on Sat 25th of April in Kitchen Lab Tarvo, Helsinki as a part of the screening program called Solo Soul Sauna.

The director Elina Oikari will join both of the events, and the graphic & poster designer Barbara Siemaszko to the first event in Warsaw.

I Was Born (2024) merges existential gaze into surreal landscapes. A man borns on the river. He yearns for nature's peace, but is continuously followed by a mysterious and disturbing figure.
